He is an expert in treating very sick newborns, babies delivered to high risk mothers and critically ill, extremely premature low birth weight babies. With enviable foreign qualifications he has vast experience in facilitating high quality of Critical Care. Infact his global exposure has led him to work in some of the large and prestigious hospitals in Australia. To this he has smartly blended local empathy and needs to offer patients revolutionary, new standards in Critical Care. It is with this background that the Department of Critical Care at Little Stars has been set up by him.
He has a Fellowship in Neonatology at Royal Hospital for Women (RHW) in the University of New South Wales, Sydney.
He has vast experience with conventional mechanical ventilation, high frequency oscillatory ventilation and Nitric oxide therapy and Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) therapy.
He has also been an Instructor for neonatal resuscitation program in Australia and an Instructor for P.A.L.S. Course in India since February 2010. A Fellow in Pediatric and Cardiac Intensive Care from the Sydney Children’s Hospital in South Eastern Sydney and Illawara Area Health Service, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, he has also obtained his accreditation in Bayley Scales of Developmental Pediatrics from Australia and New Zealand Harcourt Assessment, Psych Corp, Sydney.
